As a Senior Curation Scientist and Project Lead with over 20 years of experience, I bring a deep understanding of the critical role scientific databases play in research and development. I am a solution expert in the therapeutic landscape of large molecules, including peptides, oligonucleotides, and monoclonal antibodies.Key Expertise:• Scientific Database Design & Development: Expert in designing, integrating, and analyzing complex biological databases, with a strong focus on clinical trial data (ClinicalTrials.gov, ICTRP, Cochrane, and other global registries), scientific journals, publishing groups, patents, and other key research sources.• Custom Curation Templates: Proficient in developing tailored curation templates for a wide range of applications, including Cancer Genomics, Clinical Variant Interpretation, Clinically Actionable Mutations (Somatic), FDA approval studies, therapeutic large molecules, and more.• Vocabularies & Ontologies Integration: Extensive experience in integrating controlled vocabularies and ontologies like MedDRA, ICD-10, SNOMED CT, GO, NCI Thesaurus, RefSeq, Ensembl, and others.• Team Leadership: Currently leading a team of 15+ scientists in the annotation of complex datasets from diverse sources, including scientific journals, patents, clinical trials, patents and conference proceedings.• Large Molecule Therapeutics: In-depth knowledge and experience in the large molecule therapeutic space, particularly in peptides, oligonucleotides, and monoclonal antibodies.
