About Vijay Saini

I have, 36 years of experience, out of which 16 years (1980-1996) has been in the field of business development/sales, Project/Institutional sales, execution of turnkey projects and customer support- pre-sales & after sales. The remaining are at the management level, starting up a company, company incorporation, partnership agreements, financial arrangements with banks & partners, business planning, manpower planning and recruitment, control & monitoring of the business, P&L responsibility. My present appointment is with Zamil Infra Pvt. Ltd, as the Regional Head of the Middle East, based out of UAE. I am responsible for the P&L of the regional operations, in addition to the development of business in the countries of the Middle East region. I have successfully developed business for the company in UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar. I was instrumental in getting our Towers, Monopoles, air conditioners, Shelters, Deisel Generators approved and selling them in the above countries. Zamil is also an EPC contractor and solar power developer, with 22MW of solar power plants in India. I have also been exploring such possibilities in the region. I am the member of MESIA. I have been instrumental in getting a unique 9KW solar DC power plant developed & approved, which will be used for powering remote cell sites. The solar DC plant is unique in the sense that two solar DC plants plugged together will provide power to an 18KW load. I am an Electronics & Communication Engineer by profession with a post graduate diploma in Marketing management and the vast experience at the corporate level. I am a keen golfer, enjoy some great health and love travelling, interacting with people and have developed some great relationships during my career. It has been a great journey so far.
