I’m an Analyst in GlobalData(Formerly Progressive Digital Media), Market Research Firm. My current role is to create market data for Fast Moving Consumer Goods(FMCG). Job responsibilities are, to estimate the major Brand Shares, Value and Volume using Secondary Research through triangulation methods. Before getting into Market Data projects, I worked on Packaging data for FMCG, where I need to check the packaging type of FMCG products, which are available on online stores through secondary desk research and even worked on Soft Drinks data, where I need to check Soft Drinks and Beer data as per the guidelines and need to raise the queries through email with the respective Market Consultant’s in order to have rationale on any sudden change in the historical back data. Before getting into Market Research, I have 2.8 years of experience as Content Analyst in APEX Co-Vantage, ITES Firm. My role is to analyze the company’s website and decide the business activities as per the guidelines, writing company profiles, Meta data capturing, mapping Product/Service headings to the content, and Normalizing the products with standard attributes and data values. I worked as a Mathematics and Chemistry teacher for almost 3 years for Tenth Standard students in Sri Vivekananda High School. I completed my Bachelor’s of Technology in stream of ECE specialization with an aggregate of 71.46% from RRS College of Engineering and Technology.
