Postdoctoral researcher enthusiastic about learning - from academia to industry and everything in between! Please come chat to me about your work. Currently part of the Cardiometabolic Immunity group at the Victorian Heart Institute, investigating the impact of cell death and inflammatory signalling in macrophages in response to atherogenic stimulation. Was previously employed under the Host-Pathogen Interactions lab at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research, characterising the effects of cell death impairment in physiological models of enteric bacterial infections. With over 6 years of experience in immunology and a particular focus on cell death, I'm keen to contribute to the understanding of these cellular pathways in various disease contexts. Having this work assist in therapeutic development, and being part of the translation, would be a dream!
