Job Responsibilities as Material & Logistics Co-ordinator: Applications worked on Star IPS, IFS, SAP, Oracle & BPS-ERP. Use of available application for requisition materials & records. Request for new item no. with proper manufacturer and part no. details. To co-ordinate & assist Supply Chain Manager in all Supply Chain activities like Material Procurement, Rental Agreements, identifying new suppliers, etc. To maintain & update records of all Suppliers and Agreements. To liaise with Accounts Payable department in invoice clearance and to resolve any discrepancy. To use available application Oracle for data entry & supply chain report generation. Plan, supervise and Coordinate all procurement and material requirements for the various Operations teams. Raise PR and follow with the buyer for timely delivery of the required materials. Receive & Dispatch material via vessel by preparing proper outgoing manifest. Audit & update inventory levels, maximums & reorder points to adjust inventory with increasing activities. Monitor inventories and requisition/delivery progress for early identification of potential problems. Work with expeditors to prioritize their efforts on most critical items. Rapidly respond to short term material needs/shortages via expediting & acceptable alternatives. Perform cycle inventory count and update the same in system.
