About Vikas Lamba

I serve as a soldier in the Central Armed Police Force - India. As part of the Mountaineering Sports Team in CAPF, I climb mountains when I am not contributing to establishing internal security in our country. My undying love for scaling various mountain peaks led me to pursue and secure 'Alpha-A' grade graduations in advanced courses in Mountaineering from NIM Uttarkashi and HMI Darjeeling while continuing to be in the forces. In the past 5 years, I have climbed 6 peaks of heights in India & Nepal within an average of 20 days, all in first attempts. I aspire to pioneer Mt. Everest & Mt. Lhotse expeditions among the others at CAPF and to continue to be on the lookout for endeavours that tap into my extreme potential. The most humbling aspect of being a mountaineer is the opportunities that it gifts me with to share all the hidden life lessons tucked away in the mountains with others.
