About Vikas Pai

I am a back end developer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from NMAM Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in 2024. I have recently completed a three-month stint at StackIt, a leading cloud-based platform for data analysis and visualization. There, I developed expertise in writing REST API endpoints for various subsystems within the product, using server-side technologies such as MySQL and Apache Kafka. At StackIt, I worked on the implementation of the PG Reader- GSheets pipeline, a significant project that involved extracting data from a PostgreSQL database and persisting it into Google Sheets using a Kafka-based persistence stream. I gained valuable experience working in a fast-paced environment, participating in ideation, development and testing processes, and collaborating with other developers, designers, and product managers. I am passionate about creating scalable and reliable back end solutions that can handle large volumes of data and support diverse user needs. I am eager to join a team that values innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, and where I can bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to the table.
