About Vikas Pareek

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Haskins Laboratories, Yale Child Study Center | University of Connecticut, where I conduct MRI-based studies on dyslexia and PTSD in children due to domestic violence. I have a PhD in Neuroscience from National Brain Research Centre, Gurgaon, and a Bachelor in Pharmacy from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, combining pharmacology and neuroscience expertise. With over 3 years of postdoctoral experience and multiple publications in reputed journals, I have demonstrated proficiency in diffusion tensor imaging, functional MRI, biostatistics, aging neuroscience, and neuro-oncology. I have also developed skills in Python and Bash Shell scripting, BIDS conversion, and machine learning for data analysis and prediction. I am passionate about collaborating on bioinformatics research over neuropsychiatric diseases and exploring the role of evolution and pandemics on neuro-cognition.
