From the moment I was introduced to investing in my late 20’s, I realized that I had discovered something I was truly passionate about and had a natural ability to excel in. Growing up in a single mother home since I was 3 years old had its challenges. My mother was determined to provide for my sister and I, and did whatever it took to do so. She was determined to provide for us but lacked the education to properly manage finances. We lived paycheck to paycheck, and life was a constant struggle. After discovering my passion for investments and retirement planning, I began working at Charles Schwab Company where I obtained all the necessary credentials that would allow me officially launch my career in financial/retirement planning. I’ll never forget one morning receiving a call from a woman whose husband had just passed away and she was left to manage the finances and investments for the first time in her life. I took pride in helping her and was glad that I was the one who had the opportunity to educate and guide her through a difficult time in her life. I realized at that moment I wanted to dedicate myself to helping people with their financial lives. I opened my own practice. It was empowering to be able to help women in need of financial guidance and rewarding to know I was making a difference in their lives. While my passion is to help single moms, widows, etc, I’m proud to be able to serve members of my community from all walks of life.
