Vikram is currently working as Principal Reservoir Engineer with Cairn Oil and Gas and is based in India. He has more than 18 years of experience in reservoir engineering and simulation domain both in India and Middle East and worked before with major E&P operators and service provider companies in India ( Reliance E&P) and in middle east (Schlumberger, Emerson( Roxar) and worked with almost all major NOCs in Middle East for consultancy projects, trainings and evaluations in simulation domain. With strong reservoir engineering and simulation background, a Master's( MBA) in Technology Management from prestigious Indian Institute of Technology ( IIT), Kanpur, India and with clear understanding and knowledge of Static Reservoir Modeling, Integrated Asset Modeling(IAM) he communicates effectively with all the stake holders in any project or assignment with a vast experience in Reservoir simulation( both black oil and compositional), Streamline simulations, Field Development Plans, Assisted History Matching and Uncertainty Analysis using Machine learning algorithms, Reservoir fluid analysis and EoS tuning, Geological modeling, Well test analysis, Material balance analysis, Surface network modeling, Nodal analysis and Production optimization. His areas of interest include Compositional Simulation, EOR studies (Polymer, Co2), Simulation of Naturally Fractured Reservoirs, PVT fluid modeling, Streamline Simulation, Design and enhancement of Reservoir Simulator functionalities, Total Uncertainty Management, its Quantification, Assisted History Matching and Big Loop Studies. He has SPE and EAGE publications on Big Loop/Closed loop studies to capture and quantify uncertainties from seismic to simulation domain and produce geologically consistent history matched models. He is well equipped to work in Linux platform and with Python Programs. Vikram is a strong proponent of the concept of seamless and consistent data.Reservoir simulation engineer holding Geo-modeling and Reservoir Analytics capabilities for proper integrated reservoir flow modeling, he has deep understanding of data characteristics at every scale, understanding of interplay of various data like Seismic data, petrophysical data, geological data, RFT, PLT data, core data, PVT data, well test data, production data,geologically consistent data flow between different stages with uncertainty quantification at each stage, and has excellent communication skills. He loves reading SPE literature and books by prominent oil industry authors of his domain.
