About Vikram Amrawanshi

I have been working as an Assistant Professor of Law at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, since July 2024. Currently, I am teaching Criminology, Penology, and Victimology to second-year students in the third semester. I have also taught Family Law I, Gender Justice and Human Rights, and Law Relating to Ombudsman and Lokpal in previous semesters to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Before joining NLIU, I worked as a Teaching and Research Associate (Law) at the Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, from July 2022 to June 2024 and had a wonderful experience in teaching various subjects and researching through funded projects. I am also pursuing my Ph.D. in International Law and have recently been awarded the GRO – Gender Equality Studies and Training (GEST) Fellowship by the University of Iceland and UNESCO. Under this Fellowship, I will be pursuing the Postgraduate Programme in International Gender Equality Studies at the University of Iceland from January to May 2026. I have also been a recipient of the International Award for Young People (Bronze Standard) and various other accolades, and I have good experience in judging various national and international moot court competitions.
