Industry Practitioner with extensive experience in managing all aspects of Software development in the areas of Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Management, Cloud, and other digital technologies. Experience in conceptualizing, building, and developing technology teams responsible for developing, testing, and delivery of software solutions in the areas of Analytics, BI, Data warehousing, including High-Performance Computing for domains such as Financial Risk Management (Banking and Insurance), Manufacturing, and Communications. Currently, heading the Fraud and Security Intelligence R&D department at SAS R&D, Pune, India. Responsible for building a new team that will eventually be responsible for Architecting, Developing, and Delivering Analytical products and solutions in the Fraud and Security Intelligence domain. Previous responsibility at SAS included managing the group responsible for development testing and delivering complex SAS products in the BFSI and Advanced Analytics domain (Risk Modeling aka Credit Scoring, Regulatory Risk Management, Risk Modeling nodes for Visual Data Mining, and Machine Learning and, Banking & Insurance Warehouses). Prior to this, I was responsible for leading an offshore project team of developers and testers responsible for building a successful knowledge management product implemented by government, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical organizations. I was also associated with implementation and customer support for a large business-critical project for a large shipping company.
