Inventory Management - Working in co-ordination with marketing/production/Supply chain to ascertain the necessities for components, raw materials & consumables. Placing orders according to requirements after confirming realistic available stocks. Governing the inventory function so as to curtail inventory-holding expenses and adherence to the minimum inventory level to lower down holding cost in coordination with stores as well as supplier. Cost Reduction Initiatives - Ensuring profitability through cost reduction by way of monitoring zero base costing, manufacturing process, quality, forecasting to reduce rejections, developing alternate source, suggesting & developing alternative material, material handling and transportation
