I’m Vikram, a procurement professional specialising in driving value and efficiency in the public sector. I started my procurement career on the Ministry of Defence Commercial Graduate Programme, rotating across different teams to build a solid foundation in commercial management. I crafted robust contract management plans, developed comprehensive bidders' packs, and led investigations into contractor claims, resulting in significant cost savings. My success in the programme led to a permanent position, where I continued to refine my skills and tackle more complex projects. Transitioning to PwC, I work as a consultant specialising in public sector procurement. My role involves collaborating with various governmental organisations to develop tailored strategies for all aspects of procurement. I focus on strategic sourcing, contract management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure that all procurement processes are executed with excellence.
