About Vikram Singh

As a Marine Superintendent, I ensure that managed vessels meet company, industry and regulatory compliance. I am involved in conducting ISM/ISPS/MLC audits, crew training, Pre-Sire / Pre-PSC inspections / Pre- RightShip, Mooring Audits,Engine Room Audits, Bunker Audits,Incident Investigations and developing procedures or reviewing how new technology can be developed to meet existing regulations. I ensure that company vessels are operating in compliance with industry standards, which involves visiting managed vessels and reporting on safety and environmental issues, assessing vessel crew qualifications, training and ensuring that safety procedures and compliance are continually met. Ultimately, my role is to ensure that vessels are safe and compliant and that their crew are properly trained and qualified for the tasks at hand. I work in close collaboration with HSEQ and Vetting manager to prepare vessels for SIRE 2.0, CDI, Rightship and PSC Inspections. I also work as back up HSEQ & Vessel Marine Superintendent for Managed Oil & Chemical tanker vessels as and when required. I assist shore team with TMSA audits, Incident investigations, CAR for oil majors inspections and screening of vessels. In past, As a Master mariner & Chief Officer onboard,I have also built a proven track record in end to-end vessel operations, such as voyage planning, cargo operations, tank cleaning, vessel preparation for PSC/FLAG/CLASS/VETTING inspections, repairing, maintenance, vessel supervision, vessel docking, repairing works, dry docking operations, troubleshooting, navigational safety, environmental management, and performance enhancements. Over the years, I have acquired remarkable proficiency in leading and supervising the company vessels under command are maintained in a safe and seaworthy condition following the requirements/instructions of the company’s senior management, Port state control, Local port regulations, flag state administrations, and classification societies. A Certified Master Mariner with a robust background in vessel management, resource management, people management, occupational safety and midstream chemical and oil services.
