About Vikrant Bhakar

As a Group LCA and sustainability manager my focus is on generating comprehensive LCAs of our products and develop sustainability reports as per CSRD, GRI, etc. I also review LCAs and then interpreting these analyses for diverse audiences, and clearly communicating the main differences or alignment issues across various LCAs. Further part of my role is also committed to support and work on the effective delivery of Sustainability Reporting for the Smurfit Westrock Group. This includes CSRD and reporting work. This involves understanding the end to end supply chain, ensuring all data points for the CSRD reporting are touched upon, including double materiality. The key is to ensure that the science behind our sustainable packaging solutions is well understood by customers and colleagues and the company grows on it net zero journey with full complaince to EU and other regulations and directives. Have capability to critically review sustainability, LCA and GHG project reports. Capable to work in multidisciplinary and globally diversified teams on various sustainability projects. Have a very good understanding of macro, meso, and micro supply chains and value propositions. Have published more than 20 publications, peer reviewed journals, conferences, including white papers. Experienced in working with multicultural and multi country projects.
