About Vikrant Jayant

Broadly my research area belong to "Supramolecular Chemistry" including Organic Chemistry & MolecularDesigning or Sensing, Organic Functional Material or Host -guest or Inclusion Chemistry/Organic Synthesis/Crystallography, Biological active molecules with their applications. My research at present is focused in the design, synthesis and study of functional molecular aggregates including a self-assembly processes as a methodology to construct large and functional multi-molecular architectures. We are highly motivated in designing and synthesis of new supramolecular receptors for their sensing purpose either in any material or biological active molecules. Another area of our interest resides in the design and application of molecular containers and it can be a molecules or supramolecules which are sufficiently large to include or encapsulate other molecules. I also interested in mechanically interlocked molecules (MIM) for their potential applications in molecular machinery. I am always looking for the opportunity to prove myself.
