About Viktor Bobchev

Having grown up in two extremely contrasting countries has allowed me to develop an open and understanding mindset on various topics and situations. A long background in the sport of rowing has granted me qualities of deep determination and the ability to work in teams in stressful situations. With a Sociology and Anthropology qualification, society is of great interest to me as I am a constant observer of both local and global happenings. As an addition, I have gained university accreditation that certifies my ability to conduct accurate and ethical qualitative and quantitative field work. To go with my social interests, for the past 10+ years I have been an avid social/documentary photographer, having captured topics such as xenophobia, refugees, mass student protests as well as daily life in South Africa, Bulgaria and throughout my travels. Selected winner of Standard Bank Portraits in Progress photography competition. Upon returning to Bulgaria, teaching English was an immediate start to my work life. Working with teenagers was an exiting challenge that proved successful as they obtained their B2 level certificates, with some even pushing through to C1 proficiency level. Shortly before completing my first year as a teacher, the opportunity arose to work at a multiple award winning creative advertising agency. There I was involved with brainstorming creative concepts for some of the biggest international brands in Bulgaria, maintaining their social media accounts and being a adaptive member of the creative department of the agency.
