About Viktor Pecha

My work experience has been gained through various jobs, positions, and continents. My current gaming journey started back in 2008 when I came across a phenomenon of that time called poker. Back then, and for the previous 8 years, I had been fully committed into developing B2B / B2C family business focused on luxurious furniture. However, poker lured me away with its great mix of skill, luck, and emotions so in 2010 I exited the furniture business and moved to Australia. There, I changed my life significantly, became a Uni student again, while I kept playing semi-pro midstakes poker and coaching other low stakes poker enthusiasts. Following 4 years I dedicated exploring gaming business from various angles - as a poker player who is trying to crush midstakes and as an entrepreneur with various affiliate / community projects. When I left Melbourne at the end of 2013, I spent over a year traveling around New Zealand, Australia & South Africa. Upon returning to my hometown Prague in 2015, I jumped into gaming immediately by accepting a challenging role at Sazka. Sazka, being Czech lottery giant was about to enter online business and I was asked to prepare their entire iGaming portfolio and integration strategy. My initial role was to focus on IIWG products & portfolio (casino, instant games, and online scratch cards) which went live in 2017 with a successful launch. Since then, it's been interesting journey of growing and developing business during which my focus has broadened to building various iLottery products and game verticals. E.g, draw based games with a unique visualisation (Fast Ducklings lottery game), own Fantasy Sports game and the Esport Hub My main mission at Sazka has been building and strengthening online scratch card vertical. For the time being, Sazka is due to our unique know-how the only operator being able to successfully run it in the Czech Republic. Since 2021, I'm part of the Allwyn team which was preparing documentation for the UK National Lottery bid, which was succesfully converted into the fourth National Lottery Licence award in 2022. My role is to consult and prepare new IIWG portfolio and help during the transition period.
