About Vimal Kumar

With a Masters in Construction Management and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering, I have a strong academic background and a passion for construction and project management. I am currently an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and Estimator at Byoot, where I play a key role in estimating project costs, preparing detailed cost estimates, and providing accurate budget forecasts to support project planning and decision-making. I leverage my skills in quantity takeoffs, project specifications analysis, and estimating software to generate comprehensive and accurate cost assessments, considering all relevant factors such as labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. I also collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to facilitate procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. I have successfully supported the delivery of multiple projects, including the Bangalore Metro Rail Project, where I was involved in the execution, surveying, and reporting of the underground metro stations. I am always eager to learn and grow in this field, and I value teamwork, quality, and innovation.
