I am an experienced HPC Specialist with over 11 years in the industry, skilled in both HPC system engineering and scientific application support. My expertise spans system-level infrastructure management, parallel storage, and application-level model compilation and optimization, supporting domains like weather forecasting, climate modeling, and machine learning. In my current role as an HPC Application Analyst at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (Client – NCMRWF, Noida), I lead the compilation and integration of advanced weather and ocean models like WRF, Unified Model (UM), VAR, SURF, JULES, OPS, NEMO, XIOS, and OASIS-MCT, using tools like Rose-Cylc, FCM, and various compiler toolchains (Cray, Intel, GCC). I also manage Python and ML workflows using Anaconda and Miniforge. On the HPC infrastructure side, I have hands-on experience in: Parallel file systems like Lustre and storage solutions such as DDN (Distributed Data Network) Managing and monitoring NVIDIA GPU systems (A100, V100, DGX-A100) Cluster design and topology including Fat Tree and Dragonfly Job scheduling with Slurm and PBS Node provisioning with xCAT.
