Vin Cipolla has served as Chairman, President and CEO across private and public organizations in New York, Washington, D.C, Boston and London. He is an eight-time corporate CEO, a four-time CEO of major nonprofits, an entrepreneur having launched six venture businesses, a capital campaign and fundraising leader, and he has served on over thirty boards of directors of both leading nonprofit and business organizations. Among these many accomplishments includes distinctive civic leadership in the arts, public policy and conservation, in both professional and board leadership capacities. He is currently the President and CEO of Historic New England, the oldest, largest and most comprehensive independent preservation organization in the United States, with 38 museums, historic farms, thousands of protected acres, and an extraordinary collection of over objects spanning New England history. He is the former President and CEO of the National Park Foundation, also having served as its Citizen Chairman; and the former President and CEO of the Municipal Art Society of New York. For many years, he held key leadership positions at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, including serving as Executive Director of David Geffen Hall, heading its $550 million capital campaign in partnership with the New York Philharmonic. In the field of classical music, he served as Senior Strategy Advisor with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and as President and Senior Advisor with The Knights Orchestra. Other leadership positions have included serving as Chairman and President of the ICA / Boston; Chairman of The Arts Arena Paris; Co-Chairman of the National Parks of New York Harbor Conservancy; and Vice Chairman of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, along with many other key posts. In 2015, he founded the cultural management consulting firm Five Mile River Co, as its Chairman and CEO.
