About Vin Connelly

Chef Vincent Connelly strives to promote food equity in order to improve child and adult health through sustainable programs for those with limited access with an emphasis on seasonal local produce and surplus foods. Chef Vin has worked in the Cambridge Public Schools, Boston Public Schools and with Project Bread, turning government commodity foods and locally sourced products into delicious, healthy and child-friendly meals that have delighted thousands of students, teachers and staff. He is the author, along with his physician-wife Hope Ricciotti, of five health-oriented cookbooks. Chef Vin created and tested every recipe in these books, including many trials and retakes based upon input of his wife and sons.
