About Vinay Kakne

I am a Mechanical Engineer and PMP-certified Project Coordinator with 10+ years of experience supporting engineering and industrialization projects in global manufacturing environments. My career has grown at the intersection of engineering execution and project coordination, where I work closely with cross-functional teams across design, simulation, planning, quality, suppliers, and customers to deliver structured, high-quality outcomes.I have supported projects through key lifecycle phases including concept development, prototype support, industrialization, engineering changes, and launch readiness, primarily within automotive OEM ecosystems. This exposure has built a strong foundation in process discipline, stakeholder communication, risk awareness, and delivery tracking.Alongside project coordination, I serve as a Key User for CATIA V5, enabling teams through standardization, coaching, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. I enjoy simplifying complex workflows, improving efficiency, and helping teams perform consistently under demanding timelines.International onsite experience in Germany and Mexico has strengthened my ability to collaborate across cultures, adapt to global work practices, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.I am currently expanding my capabilities beyond my core domain through PMP certification, Lean Six Sigma learning, and continuous upskilling, with the goal of contributing to structured, technology-driven organizations where engineering rigor and project discipline go hand in hand.
