About Vinay Kumar

Vinay is passionate about clean energy innovation and his skills are transferable to related area of Energy Technology. He is highly attracted to energy transition pathways and facilitating the industry with tangible solutions to achieve net zero emission by 2050. He carries seven years of experience to incorporate the value engineering in development and execution of greenfield and brownfield projects in power generation, mining/metals and oil & gas. During this time, he has held roles with power generation firms/Tier-1 consultancies/R&D institutions and executed projects in the fields of Power Plants, Thermal Storage, Renewable Energy Systems, Electric steam generation. On these projects he piloted conceptual, PFS, technical due diligence, equipment specifications, independent design review and Life cycle (O&M) cost studies for hybrid power plants and electrified steam generation. As following the ASME/Australian regulations, facility to generate detailed technical specifications from client requirements. Extensive experience in bidding and tendering process, including reaching out to vendors, receiving information, MCAs and evaluating bid options to determine the most viable options. As SME, he developed various proposals on future fuels and steam electrification projects as per business development requirements, while handling the scope of ongoing multi-discipline projects.
