Vinay M. Phanse. I am presently working as an independent Advisory Consultant, creating and facilitating Structured finance products for Clients. These include, Project Finance solutions, identifying potential clients needing investments, including fresh projects and Non Performing Assets needing finance to settle existing stuck exposure and structuring any additional finance / Equity required for working Capital to resume operations, identifying Assets available for Sale / Investment ( including, but not limited to arranging finance on Success basis). My vast exposure of over 42 years in Banking Industry, in financing projects (including Infrastructure project financing and structuring) and resolution of Stressed Assets ( including restructuring of Debts) can benefit Clients looking for profitable deals, both on accessing investment and providing investment. We have Offices in Thane, Mumbai and NOIDA, NCR. I have worked as an Advisor with the India Debt Resolution Company Ltd.(IDRCL) on a 6 month Contract. The Advisory role included assisting the then newly established company to finalise / review policies for acquisition of Assets including review of the target company's potential for turnaround, devise strategies for restructure of the target, find potential investors or in case of liquidation find buyers for the Assets. I have also worked as Consultant - Vigilance Unit with a Large Private Sector Bank - Yes Bank. My work included review of the Credit proposals, from origination of sanction / approval to the time of the Assets becoming Non Performing / Stressed, including (but not limited to) Investigation of Fraud, if any, in Credit Processing, Analysis of Forensic Audit, Management Overview for Recovery of Bad Debts as a Consultant in a Private Commercial Bank for Staff Accountability and Fraud Investigation and highlight key shortcomings including laxity in supervision, errors of credit judgement, non compliance of the Bank's policies and identify areas of improvement in existing policies and suggest improvement based on review. Post retirement from State Bank of India over 5 years ago, except for Short Term assignments with Yes Bank for Vigilance / Investigation and IDRCL for setting up and advising Resolution making process, I am freelancing as Independent Consultant and Advisor for Corporate Project Finance and Resolution of Stressed Assets. I have extensive experience in Project Financing, Infrastructure, Stress Asset Funding, Resolution and Management.
