About Vince Benedetti

I am the Principal of Brockenbrough’s Fuel Systems Infrastructure group. My design and project management experience includes military and commercial fuel systems, building HVAC, and industrial mechanical systems. My experience includes tanks, tank farms, pumps, piping, instrumentation, controls, hydraulic analysis, water hammer analysis, hydrant type aircraft fueling systems, hot pit type aircraft fueling systems, truck loading and offloading fuel systems, naval vessel loading and offloading fuel systems, fuel pipelines, missile fueling systems, and inspection and design of coating systems, as well as sophisticated HVAC and ice storage systems. I received an ASHRAE Energy Award for the Ice Storage System Specialties: I have worked on projects for Brockenbrough in the 50 states and the District of Columbia, as well as 16 foreign countries, two U.S Territories, and on six continents. I lead the effort to re-write the military’s UFC 3-460-01 Design: Petroleum Fuel Systems, to update the DoD Tank Standard AW 78-24-27, and to create SAE ARP 5789 “Aviation Fuel Facilities” for the commercial fueling industry. Brockenbrough has also received two letters of commendation from the Navy on my projects.
