About Vince Mastrocola

I am a self motivated individual who enjoys challenges that utilize my existing skill set and present new opportunities for professional growth. As a Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator at Ledcor LTS I provided safety specific support to operations management that were responsible for the installation of fiber optic cabling via horizontal directional drilling, aerial team and hydro-vac truck soft excavation. I am a believer in continuing education. I am currently enrolled in the Toronto Metropolitan University - The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education Advanced Safety Management certificate program. I am a graduate of the Occupational Health and Safety Program at Humber College. I am JHSC Certified and have served as both a Management and Worker Co-Chair. In March 2019, at Casino Woodbine, I led a Hazardous Materials and SDS Audit Sub Committee to ensure site compliance with WHMIS 2015 regulations. In March 2018, I was appointed Site Communication Lead at Casino Woodbine. In this project role I have communicated critical information regarding the on-going expansion and associated construction work. In November 2018 I organized All Employee Meetings for a staff of 14th. I created and posted new signage to help a employees, guests and suppliers navigate the site during the construction phase. I led projects to expand the employee break room to accommodate 500+ new employees. My latest project is Chartreuse Safety. It's a brand designed to raise general Health & Safety awareness via social media platforms.
