About Vincent Amadeo

From responding to incidents, protecting and helping people, guiding teams through critical events, solving problems, and fighting crime, to developing security plans for global companies – it all starts with the vision of helping those in need. Since then, my career has resulted in many self initiated firsts. Global Security Strategy: While serving as the Commanding Officer of the NYPD Shield Program, a globally recognized award-winning public-private partnership dedicated to providing training and information sharing with the private sector, I assisted several law enforcement agencies across the country and abroad in instituting their own private-public partnership programs that has culminated in the formation of the Global Shield Network. Currently I serve as the President of the non for profit Global Shield Foundation, purposed to support the Global Shield Network and its 60+ law enforcement and Fusion Center partners. Protective Services: Launched the first nationwide executive protection program for a global enterprise where I lead a team of Executive Protection Professionals who provide safety, transport, close protection and protective intelligence support for the Bank's top executives. Workplace Security & Safety: Developed and implemented the first Workplace Violence, Prevention and Intervention Program that conducts investigations into workplace threats and violence against TD assets, utilizing the principles of behavioral threat assessment management. Operations Management: Transformed a fractured Corporate Event Security Program by standardizing practices to establish consistency. My performance and transformative contributions to law enforcement and corporate security communities landed me more accountability beyond the typical scope of my roles, essentially meaning that I wear many hats. As a leader, I am committed to the growth and development of my team and our partners. Facilitated productive results in security, investigative, safety, protective, risk management, and intelligence operations. Embraced employees’ expertise and contributions to achieve the mission. Provided consistent messaging and actionable advice and consultation to eliminate ambiguity to both front line employees and the most senior executives. Built and bolstered teams and organizations to deliver best-in-class service, support, and protection. Along with my many professional successes, my academic achievements include a Master of Science degree in Security Management, and am a graduate of the FBI National Academy 231st Session.
