About Vincent Anthony

For four decades, I had the honor and challenge of being the Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Puppetry Arts, from its humble inception to today's $4 million operation. I guided our capital improvements to establish a sq. foot facility and raised over $25 million to do so. I recruited and mentored our talented staff to create innovative theater works and vibrant museum exhibits. I encouraged outstanding educational activities including interactive televised digital learning programs throughout North America. I arranged partnerships with the most talented individuals and companies in the global puppetry community. I continue to serve as General Secretary of the United States center of Union Internationale de la Marionnette (UNIMA-USA), the international puppetry organization with members in over 100 nations, which is headquartered at the Center for Puppetry Arts. I have also served in several leadership roles for a number of organizations in the arts community and in Atlanta, including the National Endowment for the Arts, Puppeteers of America, the Delta Airlines Global Diversity Alliance, and many more.
