I was able to go through Cisco training in networking and attained my CCNA at the beginning of 2021. It has been very challenging and an enjoyable journey which has left me very excited to learn more and become a value to my next employer and community. Helping us all to be able to commune and meet in the Cloud for the current and next generations to come. We never know what tomorrow will bring but staying connected will help us all triumph over any situation. My previous experience has been working in the real-estate and insurance industry for 20 years working for some of the largest companies in the business like Allstate, State Farm, Travelers, and Farmers. I got a real satisfaction in helping people through natural catastrophes such as Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Floods, and Snowstorms. Having the ability to help others get through some of the most trying times of their lives was really rewarding and motivated me to be one of the best adjusters for some of the worst disasters America has been through helping over 800 families get over devastating losses. Having a very high empathy for others has put me in some of the worst conditions anyone could go through. Loosing your loved ones, your house, all of your possessions, and left feeling helpless and lost has to be the lowest point of anyone's life. Just being there for them for guidance, to listen to, or to just cry with can help support people through horrible situations. I am very happy to have had the opportunity to be there for so many during these times. Although I enjoyed my time as a Catastrophe Adjuster the job kept me away from my own family for months and some times years and I knew I needed to find new paths and avenues for my career. Getting laid off from my last employment due to the Covid shutdown opened an opportunity for me to search for that new career. After several weeks of weighing my options a career in Information Technology seemed to be a great challenge and good career choice for both my family and I.
