About Vincent Lima

I have 20 years of experience at Canon Production Printing (formerly known as Océ Technologies), primairly working as ink designer and team leader. My set of skills covers technical expertise in ink development, team and project managment and business intelligence mostly related to the digital printing business and its adjacent industries. More particularly, I focus on development realted to water-based inks and the technologies necessary to integrate them in high production printers. My motivation and energy comes from the developments of new technological solutions and their applications in high-end products, delivering added value to the end customers. The development and mentoring of professionals is also an aspect of my work that brings me a lot of satisfaction and contribute to the sustainability of the R&D center I am working in. After completing an assignement within a project, I like to think that I have contributed to making better the technology, the business and the people with whom I have worked. I highly value cooperation in any many forms. During my career, I have demonstrated the ability to extensively involve suppliers and other R&D centers within the Canon organisation in the development of concepts and products. Since July 2022, I am leading a department of CPP R&D and am responsible of the development and engineering of water-based inks and print processes for CPP product platforms.
