Background

About Vincent Morand

International executive and French-qualified lawyer with more than 20 years of experience across Europe and Asia, combining expertise in governance, operations, compliance, business development, and organisational leadership. Having worked across Civil Law and Common Law jurisdictions, including France, England, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Vietnam, I have a global perspective and a practical understanding of legal, regulatory, and commercial challenges. As Director of Operations of a leading law firm, I oversee a broad portfolio encompassing governance, compliance, finance, HR, technology, facilities, project management, quality management, marketing, and business development. My career has been defined by operating at the intersection of law, business, and strategy, working closely with leadership to improve operational performance, manage risk, drive strategic initiatives, and support sustainable growth. In parallel, I lead the French Desk and business development efforts across French-speaking markets, helping the firm strengthen client relationships, expand internationally, identify growth opportunities, and navigate complex cross-border environments. I am also committed to developing the next generation of legal professionals and regularly mentor law students and young lawyers as they navigate the early stages of their careers. Outside of work, I am passionate about environmental conservation and endurance sports, and spend much of my free time trail running, mountain biking, and training for Ironman events.
