About Vincent Pacelli
I am a postdoctoral fellow supervised by Evangelos Theodorou in the Autonomous Control and Decision Systems (ACDS) Lab at Georgia Tech. I work at the intersection of robotics, generative AI, and stochastic optimal control. My current work involves quantifying and improving the generalization capabilities of AI models, such as generative diffusion models and deep unfolded algorithms, using optimal control principles. Previously, I did my Princeton University advised by Anirudha Majumdar as part of the Intelligent Robot Motion IRoM (IRoM) Lab. My dissertation work centered on understanding necessary and sufficient amounts of task-relevant information needed to build a performant robot, both theoretically and experimentally.
