I am a generalist who likes General Management and everything in Supply Chain, from supply chain planning, to warehousing, distribution, transportation, project management, customer service, procurement, etc. I have cross industry experience, while I spent most of my time in one of the more complex and regulated industries. This requires me to be very creative and make balanced decisions on a daily basis, as like many industries, we also consider efficiency, cost, sustainability, service, etc. all important, while certain regulations and qualitative requirements cannot be sacrificed. Let me expand a bit on my experience; As the leader of AbbVie's EMEA distribution and logistics org, my focus lies in streamlining operations to enhance service excellence, sustainability and cost efficiency. My strategic leadership has been pivotal in the integration and optimization of over 100 warehouse operations, significantly reducing the footprint by over 20% and driving substantial savings. I am very strategic and tactical when it comes to procurement and supplier management, which helped make very powerful deals with suppliers. Through my Supply Planning, and general SC project management experience it is very natural for me to oversee the (big) picture and to connect dot's. With that I am very capable of making overall company wide best decisions, which helps companies strive forward better and faster, in whatever industry is being operated in.
