About Vincent Rutt

I am an authentic, transparent, and results-driven leader who takes pride in remaining customer-focused while meticulously driving strategic growth and operational excellence. I am also geographically versatile with both Canadian and EU citizenship. My greatest focus while performing any task or leading any team is quality. Whether the scenario is the development of a product or a deliverable to a customer, success is almost always a by-product of good quality. Another aspect I bring to any team, and expect within my own, is imagination. Though I may use it as a guideline, I never fall into the groove of "how it has always been done". Having a broad knowledge base is a difficult feat to accomplish, but it is nothing without imagination. I look forward to working with teams that share that same emphasis on quality and imagination. I pride myself on being authentic and transparent. Having a team's trust is key when conditions force us to course-correct. A team pivots best when they know their leader believes in what is spoken, with nothing tucked up the sleeve. Combining that with clear direction and strong accountability leaves you with a dream team and deep roster. While I believe that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, I am still committed to building each of the parts, professionally and personally, through pointed direction and training. Growing our teams is the differentiator that keeps us ahead of the competition and ready for the market. My passions of playing hockey and creating music have taught be that no matter how much of an expert I may become, it is the team that wins the game, and it is the band that creates the song. Along with my other passion of traveling, I have learned that you need to be quick on your toes to adapt to changes in your environment. Always have a plan B and do not shy away from taking calculated risks. For my next adventure, I am aiming to build off of my Global Operational Leader skillset, landing a globally-influencing role in a company where I can leverage my rigour, commitment, and enthusiasm in bringing a team to the next level - operationally, structurally, and culturally.
