Dogward Bound is owned and operated by Vincent and Michelle Sciullo. What started out as a unique approach to training by integrating his own pack with his clients through hiking, has turned into our dream of providing a therapeutic retreat for dogs to reconnect with their primal instincts by enjoying nature and the companionship of other dogs. Playing soccer at the collegiate level, Vincent naturally made the well being of body, mind, and spirit a priority. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation and worked for many years to enhance the lives of both children and seniors. A passion and natural connection to dogs led him to return to school to become a Certified Master Dog Trainer and Behavior Specialist. Far from your traditional boarding facility, we welcome your furry family into our home by providing dogs with a fun, safe and unmatched experience. We give dogs’ access to our own 15 acre, secluded mountain top retreat, adjacent to New York State's Fahnestock Park. Our over sized personal kennel runs provide a place of rest and relaxation for all of our furry friends. For our more active guests, we offer daily structured time to play in multiple large fenced-in areas; with an add on option of a focused nature hike through our trails. Our packages provide custom tailored experiences to meet the needs of each dog.
