About Vineet Kumar Goswami

I am a biotechnologist having a keen interest in the area of biochemistry, cytogenetics, bioprocess engineering, microbial fermentation, protein engineering, bioprocess optimization, enzyme technology, bioconversions, biocatalysis, in silico studies and bioinformatics, the chemistry of natural products, water quality analysis, biochemical profiling, and bioprospecting. I am also having a vast and variety of experience in bioinstrumentation and bioanalytical techniques including, fluorescent microscopy, PCR, gel electrophoresis, HPLC, GC, bioreactor, ultra-filtration, lyophilization, spectrophotometry, nanodrop quantifications, and enzyme assays. My expertise, experience and innovative approach have instilled me with the confidence to take up a more challenging position and venture into new dimensions of interdisciplinary research and teaching, involving medical and biomedical sciences, biological sciences and biotechnology. I believe that in order to perform and to make a mark in the revolutionary workplace, one must have a perfect blend of theoretical aspects and practical expertise of the subject. This exactly happens to be my forte. AIMS AND INTERESTS: My current research interests are focused on protein markers and biomarkers for diabetes mellitus type-II and neurological disorders, enzyme technology, fermentation and bioprospecting, functional proteomics and functional human genetics/ genomics.
