Background

About Vinicius Buzzacaro

I am a Backend Software Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background and hands-on experience owning and improving business-critical production systems.I work primarily with Java and Spring Boot, building and maintaining backend services and APIs that support high-usage workflows. My role often involves performance tuning, refactoring legacy systems, and making architectural improvements to increase reliability, maintainability, and long-term scalability.I was promoted within my first year by consistently taking ownership of complex problems, improving system performance, and reducing recurring production issues. I am frequently involved in code reviews, technical decision-making, and mentoring, and I’m known as a strong reference for debugging and backend performance challenges.Alongside Java, I have experience modernizing Delphi-based legacy systems and building internal tools in Python, and I actively deepen my knowledge of systems programming with Rust to strengthen my understanding of performance, safety, and low-level behavior.I’m looking for backend roles where engineering quality, performance, and ownership matter, and where I can contribute both technically and architecturally to reliable, well-designed systems.
