Resident Relations:• Oversees all aspects of service delivery, operations to ensure that the programs and property consistently meet organizations expectations for a successful retirement residence while ensuring the well-being and comfort of the residents’ remains of prime importance.• I ensures quality care and services are provided to residents while monitoring quality of care considering the risk management for the changing needs of the resident. • Assess and communicate needs of the residents on a ongoing basis and collaborating with AHS homecare partners in transitioning the seniors to appropriate housing. • I ensure services reporting, planning, organizing implementing and evaluating remedial action and improvement plans.• Leadership:• Represents Management at regular resident council and/or town hall meetings as required, reviews minutes and responds to requests, concerns as required.• Ensure that a solid foundation of day to day operations for service and delivery is maintained.• Motivate others by creating an atmosphere that draws upon staff strengths and interests, invite inputs and share the accomplishments.• Ensure compliance to all safe work practices in accordance with Health regulations and Supportive Living Accommodation Licensing Act standards. Budget & Financial:• Implements, evaluates, and controls payroll information practices for the community to ensure that policies are administered fairly and interpreted correctly by all staff. Occupancy: • I effectively communicate and interact with residents, family members, visitors, and volunteers in a courteous and professional manner. • Actively participate in the placement process for the residence, contributing to the decisions that result in placements suitability.
