About Viola Dudley

I am an admitted attorney with predominantly criminal law experience. I am currently enrolled as a practicing attorney with the WC Legal Practicing Council. At the beginning of 2022, I was employed at Pam Mbabane Attorneys Inc, a small firm who focuses on personal injury claims and credit law. I was employed as a Graduate legal Intern at the Western Cape Police Ombudsman, my duties included investigations into poor service delivery by the South African Police Service. I have worked at Cognia law, where my duties included legal document reviewing and examination of privileged information for e-discovery purposes. I have worked at Capitec Bank Ltd as a Debt review agent, my duties included examining legal documentation such as Notice of motions, affidavits and supporting documentation of clients who was applying for debt review, including checking whether the applications had been properly drafted and whether the Capitec debt is included and would solve should the client be placed under debt review. I had to communicate with the Debt counsellors as well as their attorneys on a regular basis. My legal experience further includes conducting and attending to trials in the Magistrates courts as well as legal administration and drafting.
