About Violette Ramirez

I have experience with multiple laboratory techniques and would like to expand my knowledge in these areas, particularly in microbiome analysis. This includes collection, extraction, and analysis of bacteria and fungi through qPCR and Sequencing techniques. I also have experience organizing the large data output utilizing high computer processing. Some of my previous projects include: The development of a model for air flow measurement as part of a team studying particle fluid motion in ventilated environments. Using this data, I hope to inform future decision making for optimal health conditions. In addition to modeling experimental measurements, I also hope to use simulations to analyze bacteria quantity and concentration of field reports. I hope to coordinate with the community to develop outreach programs to emphasize the importance of monitoring environment microbiomes for health concerns.
