About Vipra Karkare

I caught fire coding. One of my vivid memories from school is going to the parent teacher meeting and having my teacher tell my parents "Vipra is one of the most talkative no matter where I move her in the class she communicates with everyone!" Throughout my life I have developed this art of being able to communicate with anyone at any given time. Working with different careers from studying Pharmacy to working in fields like Business Process Services and Product Management allowed me to use this skill in different ways I have learned that effective communication is at the core of any successful leader and business. After pursuing Pharmacy in India I soon realised that the job market for Pharmacy in India has been occupied by people who have a diploma or a lower qualification and it was difficult to break into the market. I had to provide for my family and hence I made a decision of getting into the Business Process industry where I utilised by communication skills to deal with clients and stakeholders. I have grown in this industry as well and have also worked as a Project Trainer. I've learnt painting since childhood and so I had the knowledge about different styles artforms etc. and thanks to my mother for pushing me to learn art sidewise. I started working as a Product Manager and I combined my love for art and communication skills to work in this role. I learnt a lot during this process including customer data management market research sales and marketing dealing with clients and stakeholders and so much more. My husband is a software engineer and during the pandemic we got a chance to sit together and he introduced me to SQL and I really enjoyed coding. And that's when it happened; the spark I was missing ignited when I started learning SQL. I yearned to learn more yearned to learn something different. I felt the need to upskill myself and so I joined a 11 week boot camp for Data Analytics. This was a decision which I made after a lot of research and keeping in mind that this will be my last chance to do what I really wanted to do. This intense boot camp helped me to acquire the relevant skills and polish my existing skills.
