A content production specialist not bound by medium or technology, I like to explore and dabble in diverse subjects, genres, forms, mediums, technologies and people. Recently(2024) completed an assignment as Field Producer on an International feature length documentary on historical evolution and modern day dynamics of caste in Indian civilisation. Working on an ongoing series of videos (Editing and Post production) documenting experiences of clients for an alternative health & wellness service provider. Recently completed (edited and directed) a series of documentaries capturing experiences of organisations working to educate stakeholders about protocols to be followed in dealing with dead bodies in conflict zones. Have also been working on another series of documentaries (editing & post production) tracing the influence of literature and poetry on resistance movements and influence of resistance movements on writers and poets in their works. Previously, a particularly long commitment (2011-2016) has been with organic cotton farmers of Chetna Organic. As head of communications, I had an immensely satisfying experience handling content design and development dealing with production of videos, photos and case stories development and disseminating them through Chetna's websites, social media platforms. Earlier, for about 10 years, I worked on numerous documentary projects in various positions researching, scripting, filming, editing, directing films that have dealt with some aspect of living in a changing world. It is this fusion of research, journalism, content development, design, documentary filmmaking, audio-video-text-photography-music media production, that I rejoice the most. I have been constantly honing my journalistic instincts and filmmaking craft over the last 20 years, which I realize are driving my hunger for quality work today. Of particular interest to me are convergent media projects, history and culture VR/AR projects, political documentary projects, long & short form audio projects and podcasts. I am currently working independently and am looking out for innovative projects and stimulating roles where I can fulfil and expand my creative potential.
