With over 15 years of experience in the IT distribution industry, I am a seasoned and accomplished leader who is passionate about building and managing channel partner networks, developing and executing sales strategies, and delivering customer satisfaction. As the Deputy General Manager at Redington Gulf, I oversee the operations and performance of the company's distribution portfolio in the Middle East and Africa region, working with a diverse and talented team of professionals. I am responsible for creating and implementing annual revenue targets, managing top client strategic relationships, providing consultative solutions, and conducting sales presentations. I also leverage my strategic agility and leadership skills to identify new business opportunities, evaluate and launch new products, and formulate and execute marketing plans. In my previous roles as Country Head at Redington Gulf and Redington Tanzania, I successfully achieved and exceeded revenue, gross margin, and market share expectations, while managing working capital within set norms. I also established and maintained strong alliances and partnerships with vendors, customers, and channel partners, ensuring mutual trust and value creation. I developed and implemented effective GTM strategies, product trainings, and policy and procedures for various channel segments, especially in the T3 and up-country markets. I also demonstrated my public relation and speaking skills by chairing various discussions with internal and external stakeholders, and by representing the company in industry events and media platforms.
