About Viral Bhatt

With over 11M people practicing Pilates, my roles as VP Operations and Manufacturing have a major impact on reputation and revenue since MERRITHEW's premier brand is STOTT PILATES, the #1 name in the industry. I started with MERRITHEW as a Production Manager and have been promoted three times. I have forged a reputation as one of the original and contributing member of the management team leading the fastest growing in the field of mindful body fitness. In my Vice President appointments, I made significant enhancements in: Manufacturing & Operations * Created and rolled out a material Review Planning (MRP) system.* played major role in Designing and launching of MERRITHEW Equipment line of products.* Offshored key products, propelling sales over $15M and #1 position in the portfolio.* shared responsibility of Designing and executing relocation of production facility to boost capacity by 200%.* Established manufacturing operations in Brazil generating over $1M in sales in one year.* Instituted a 3PL solution in the UK to support sales across Europe. Without taking up challenges, leaders and companies fail to grow. At the core of being MECHANICAL ENGINEER lies an innate curiosity to solve problems, ask and try the "what if's" to improve processes, and never give up as, in the end, success will be achieved. MERRITHEW continues to seize market share and I'm happy to lead my team in finding creative ways to meet explosive market and innovative product development.
