About Virginia Addison

Raised in a family of corn and cattle farmers, I learned early on the value of hard work, community, and the land itself. My background includes years managing equine and beef sales, breeding, and training operations. In college, I studied ecology with a focus on sustainable farming practices and the delicate balance between production and conservation. I’m a strong advocate for carbon farming and regenerative agriculture as tools to fight climate change while boosting soil health and long-term yields. I also studied sociology to better understand the complex market forces, litigation, and policies that shape food systems and protect the people behind them. I stand as an advocate for protecting American-based farming. Today, at Seso Labor, I’m proud to be working on solutions that help streamline and support the agricultural labor force—because I know firsthand how crucial these systems are for farmers, workers, and communities alike. I have personally been impacted by the labor crisis that hit American farms, and now use my career to advocate for and to protect my community.
