She excels in donor stewardship, event planning, community engagement, media relations, and strategic planning. At Family Eldercare, Virginia played a pivotal role in increasing the operating budget from $4.7 million to $21 million (2017–2022). She successfully managed large-scale community events, including leading the Summer Fan Drive Event campaign. At Great Springs Project, Virginia built donor relations contributing to the organization's vision of creating a network of green spaces between Austin and San Antonio. In her new role as Senior Philanthropy Officer (Major Gifts) at Austin Pets Alive, she is excited to help people support pets through APA!'s innovative programs, ensuring Austin remains the longest-running No-Kill city in the U.S. Virginia’s professional background also spans marketing, business development, and administrative support, demonstrating her organizational and leadership strengths.
