In my leadership role at Tata Communication as General Manager Sales for the Asia region, I am leading a team of managers, and we are always fervent about the AOP and exceeding associated quotas. I am accountable for overall sales output, crafting the execution plan to achieve all the deliverables, and keeping the team motivated for their next assignments. Current job responsibilities include-To lead the team in Asia & SAARC region, plan and drive the purchase and sale of international voice & mobility services-Monitor and guide the team to fulfil their accountability as per the assigned KRA-Mentor the team and assist them in career plans aligned with the organization's growth strategies-Region management is in-depth to ensure a maximum market share of I/B and O/B voice & A2P traffic-Closely working with the team to lock in business through existing or customised products/solutions-Closely working with Data teams for developing Voice and Data bundled solution proposals that are win-win for both Tata Communications and Telecom Partners-Encourage the team to expand interconnects in voice and A2P with high potential customers and grow areas of engagement to generate revenues from new products and VAS services-Interact and build strong relationships with the CXO level and middle management of strategic accounts-To handle and resolve escalations from both customer and internal teams-Active participation in many overseas telecom events and to represent Tata Communications at the CXO level-Data Business: Wholesale Data Sales and Business Development Activity in the India/Asia Region
