A Process Engineer at TechnipFMC, Vishal is a former valedictorian and an accomplished martial artist with a professional background centered around EPC in the Energy Business. Vishal began his career by taking his first steps after Graduating as a valedictorian from D.B.F. Dayanand College of Arts and Science, Solapur and securing admission in the prestigious Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai to pursue his Chemical Engineering dream. During his university days, seeing that some of his fellow students were faced with a lack of confidence and physical ability, Vishal took it upon himself to empower them using the tools of Martial Arts that he had nurtured throughout his early life. He fostered a culture of Combat Sports in ICT by teaching and promoting Boxing, KickBoxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He was also the flag bearer for representing Combat Sports at ICT, when he founded the ICT Boxing Club in 2016 and later the ICT Grappling team in 2017. Vishal is also the 1st person in the Entire Country to officially earn the prestigious rank of Blue Belt Stripe 1 in Gracie/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Prof. Rener Gracie and Prof. Ryron Gracie of the legendary Gracie Family.(for info check Gracieuniversity.com -official belt holders) Since graduating from ICT, he has coached part-time the upcoming generation of athletes at ICT to represent at the highest levels of combat sports competition. His students have won multiple championship titles at State and National Levels. Vishal also possesses an extraordinary talent for Languages, holding the JLPT N1 (Highest Native) certification in Japanese. This certification is awarded by the Japanese Ministry of Education for individuals with Native level Proficiency in Japanese. Being completely self-taught and never having taken a Japanese exam in his life, he achieved this certification in his very 1st Attempt in a Record Time of 11 Months.(Average time taken for a full-time student is 5 years) Vishal's athletic and extracurricular achievements have only complemented his academic career, evident from the numerous scholarships awarded to him during his undergraduate tenure at ICT. After Graduating from ICT and working with TechnipFMC for more than 3 years, Vishal is now looking for his next challenge in the Energy Industry.
